ATTENTION: By selecting 15mm or 10mm, you have fewer options available in the following categories: Ports, USB-A, Performance, Chassis Serviceability
Fingerprint Reader Only: Power button contains biometrics hardware used for authentication
Smart Card Reader: Reads insertable cards with digital certificates for authentication purposes
Near Field Communication (NFC): Detects other NFC-enabled devices in proximity, verifying authentication without requiring direct contact or an internet connection
Fingerprint + Smart Card Reader + NFC: These three features make up our Complete Security Hardware package, which also includes ControlVault, a hardware-based security solution that provides a hardened and secure bank for storing and processing user credentials. ControlVault keeps passwords, biometric templates, and security codes within firmware and locked away from a malicious application attack.
Materials
Plastic: Plastic-based polymer that has a soft, smooth feel while being more durable than standard plastic.
Magnesium: The most durable metallic alloy covering. Practical, with a greater strength-to-weight ratio than aluminum.
Carbon Fiber: Plastic composite reinforced with synthetic carbon from recycled materials. Similar durability to metal/alloy, but more environmentally friendly.
Aluminum: Metallic alloy. Cool to the touch, reflective/brilliant finish, top-of-the line design for aesthetic appeal.
