The following reports, which we prepared for Intel Corp., examine the performance of Intel vPro technology based PCs with that of three other platforms on common Windows Vista business scenarios.

 

Intel vPro technology and Windows Vista: a performance boost for common business applications We explored the response time a typical business user would experience during real-world work scenarios on an Intel vPro technology-based PC and three other platforms. We tested scenarios involving data security, finding and using information, and real-time communication and collaboration with Microsoft Office 2007 and other common office applications.

How an Intel vPro technology-based PC running Windows Vista compared with other platforms in predictive modeling and business intelligence scenarios We explored the response time a typical business user would experience during real-world work scenarios on an Intel vPro technology-based PC and three other platforms. We tested two scenarios using Microsoft Excel 2007 and one using Intuit QuickBooks Pro 2006.

Pairing Intel vPro technology with the new user interface features of Windows Vista in common business tasks   We compared the performance in common business scenarios that utilize advanced user interface features in Microsoft Windows Vista of an Intel vPro technology based PC with that of three other platforms. We tested three scenarios that took advantage of various new features of Windows Vista. PT made evaluations based on a combination of hard performance measurements and subjective quality assessments
