Thin Clients: Understanding the costsWe look beyond the obvious costs associated with thin clients to examine the potentially major infrastructure costs necessary to support thin clients and the additional support costs organizations face over the lifetime of the systems.

PC vs. thin client performance in typical office application scenarios We compared the performance of PCs and two types of thin clients on test networks with varying numbers of active clients, each running the same typical office application tasks. We measured the response time users would experience on each system while performing common office functions with leading office applications.

Comparing PC Blade and thin client performance in typical office scenariosWe compared the performance of a ClearCube PC Blade with that of a Sun thin client and a Wyse thin client on 2 single-task scenarios and 2 multitasking scenarios.
